Shopko Corporate
Advertising – Creative Designer, January 2010 – November 2012
As a softline Creative Designer, I was able to work collaboratively with copywriters and photographers in producing Shopko, Shopko Express and Shopko Hometown circulars. My responsibilities were to art direct both models and photographers, as well as design and layout of fashion, traffic, media and other advertising print collateral.

Graphic Design Intern & Freelance Designer, June 2002 – May 2011
Working sporadically over a number of years, I was able to learn prepress operations and dive into design. I assisted in bindery work, as well as in-house and freelance design with the company’s corporate and capabilities brochure, web graphics and company signature.

Marcus Corporation
Marketing – Graphic Design Intern, January 2009 – December 2009
As one of two designers for the entire Marcus Corporation, the variety of design opportunities was endless. I developed web graphics, created daily and weekly advertisements and designed in-theatre campaigns for promotional marketing. I was able to meet with printers and vendors to help grow our network and further my knowledge.

I worked in prepress to create ink plates and assisted on a Komori Five Color Press. There, I was able to attend print seminars to study the specifics of paper for individual projects and prints.
